Former Tote owner Bruce Milne on SLAM and Melbourne live music

A decade ago this month, tens of thousands of people gathered in Melbourne to protest liquor licensing changes which put enormous financial strain on live music venues.

Former owner of The Tote, Bruce Milne, was forced to close the iconic venue as a result of the changes. Today he joined us LIVE to look back on the events of 2010 and how Melbourne’s music scene is doing in 2020.
