STEAMRAIL IS CELEBRATING 100 years of Victorian Railways’ K class steam locomotives with a triple-header return special to Gippsland.

The train left for Traralgon this morning under the power of K100, K183 and K190. You can catch sight of the locos on their return run to Melbourne at the times below*:

• Traralgon – 15:00 (departs)
• Morwell – 15:15
• Hernes Oak – 15:23
• Moe – 15:56
• Warragul – 16:21
• Longwarry – 16:40
• Bunyip – 16:56
• Pakenham – 17:21 (stopping for water)
• Dandenong – 18:16
• Westall – 18:29
• Caulfield – 18:48
• Richmond Junction – 19:06
• Flinders Street – 19:10 (platform 9)
• Southern Cross – 19:20 (platform 14)
• North Melbourne – 19:25
• Newport – 19:44

If you miss seeing today’s run, two K class locos will also feature in next Sunday’s Lilydale Shuttles, running four times across the day.

The shuttles are expected to run to the timetables below:
